Speaking to setanta.com, Real Madrid's Daniel Parejo has backed Cristiano Ronaldo to shine with the Merengues.
Manchester United have confirmed they have accepted a record £80 million bid from Florentino Perez's Madrid for Premier League mega star Ronaldo.
The Portugal international is discussing personal terms with the Santiago Bernabeu club and he has until June 30 to reach an agreement regarding what would be the biggest transfer in the history of football.
The young Parejo, who is seen as one of the most promising Real players and who spent six months on loan to Championship side QPR last term, is delighted with Ronaldo's expected move to the Spanish capital.
The skilful attacker has backed the Ballon d'Or holder to make a huge impact in the Primera Liga and help the Merengues add titles to their trophy room.
“Ronaldo is a fantastic footballer and no doubt he will be a massive addition to our team,” Parejo told setanta.com.
“He has proved his talent on many occasions thanks to world-class displays and no doubt he will bring his winning mentality to Madrid.”
