Kuszczak Seeks Fergie Talks

Tomasz Kuszczak is seeking showdown talks with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Poland shot-stopper has grown frustrated with life on the sidelines in Manchester with Ben Foster being touted as the heir apparent to Edwin van der Sar.

It has been suggested that the former West Brom keeper will pursue a loan move if he is not guaranteed more first-team football at United, with Besiktas and Zenit St Petersburg interested parties.

"The contract at Manchester is for another three years, but I will make sure to speak to the manager about the situation, and about how he sees me in the team,” he told the Polish magazine Piłka Nożna.

"I know one thing - this season certainly has not been the best in my career, and particularly not when compared with the previous one.

"I felt disappointed that the manager did not put me in the team for certain matches, and on occasions, when I was not picked as understudy for Edwin van der Sar.

"We will see what will happen in the future."
